PDG Wanda Mitchell Lion Wanda Mitchell, PDG, has been a member of the Hill City Lions Club since 1996.

She has been an active member of the District Cabinet serving as Zone Chair for 2 years and Membership Chair for 3 years. Lion Wanda served as Vice District Governor in 2000-2001, District Governor 2001-2002 and the South Dakota Representative in 2002-2003.

Lion Wanda has sponsored 6 new Lions into the world of Lionism. Lion Wanda served on the Board of Directors for the South Dakota Lions Eye Bank for 6 years .

PDG Ray Schley Joined Lions Clubs International on June 9, 1989 as a member of the Brookings Lions Club. He became the clubs president in 1997-1998 and served on the Brookings Lions club's board through June 2002 including Treasurer my last 2 years on the Board.

He was elected as Vice District Governor to District 5 SE in 2000, and served as District Governor during Lions year 2001 and 2002.

As a Past District Governor he has several Chairperson positions on District 5 SE's cabinet including LCIF, Long Range Planning, Membership and Honorary Chairperson.

Presently the President of the South Dakota PDG Association and also serving as the President of the South Dakota Lions Foundation.

Lion Ray and his wife Louise, they have 3 sons and 5 grand children.

Has worked as a Manager for several railroads for over past 31 years.

PDG Ron Munro joined Lions in Swift Current, Saskatchewan in 1975. He is working on his thirtieth year of perfect attendance.

He has served in all club offices except Treasurer. He was president twice.

He was Zone Chair in 1981-82 and is a certified guiding Lion.

Lion Ron is a "Melvin Jones Fellow". He holds Life Membership in: The Lions Foundation of Canada, and the Eye Bank of Saskatchewan.

About his business life Lion Ron says: Never had any money, but had the best jobs and life anyone would want.

Lion Ron and his wife Susanna, have 5 children by previous marriages and 2 grandchildren.

Lion Ron enjoys junior hockey, local baseball and "puttering". Lion Ron is a firm believer that "Rocking the Boat" is not all bad. This even applies to the Lions organization.

Lion PCC Gordon Ziegler served as District Governor for 5CW and as MD5 Council Chair.

PCC Gordon Ziegler has been a teacher, coach and principal as well as sports official, community organizer and volunteer for nearly 40 years in Richmound, Saskatchewan.

He was Program Chairperson for the Lions 2005 Centennial Celebration in Saskatoon in February.
